Susan Mahoney
Susan has been with DTI since 2003. Among some of her duties, Susan administers the Downtown Topeka Redevelopment Incentive Grant program. She sits on various boards including the Parks and Recreation of Topeka Foundation, Stormont-Vail Community Advisory Council, Top of the Tower and serves as secretary/treasurer for the Topeka/Shawnee County Riverfront Authority. She is very active with Heartland Visioning serving on the Steering Committee, Government, Infrastructure, Economic Development, Imaging and Quality of Life foundation teams.

Laurel Opgard
Laurel has been with DTI since 2005. She is the primary contact person for the Downtown Business Improvement District and the website calendar. Laurel is also responsible for planning the Miracle on Kansas Avenue Christmas Parade, the Community Christmas tree, assisting with the Fiesta Parade and Street Party, the St. Patrick's Day Parade, Downtown Rocks the Block, and any other special event in downtown. Laurel works closely with Future Heritage of Topeka and is currently serving on the HCCI Board of Directors, and the Heartland Visioning: Quality of Life Foundation -Arts and Culture Alliance.
