Become Part of a Larger Voice for Downtown

DTI was founded in 1964 by a group of downtown business leaders who wanted downtown to have a strong, unified voice about issues pertaining to downtown. Knowing that the downtown core of a city is an indicator of the health of the city at large, those first DTI members wrote by-laws, assessed membership dues, elected a board of directors and met regularly.

During the four decades of working together, DTI members help preserve the past and plan the future of downtown Topeka. Be part of that voice and join DTI today.

At DTI, there is a place for you!

Membership levels are based on the number of people employed by the business. The number of representatives from a business published in the official DTI membership directory is based on the business’s level of membership.
