Benefits of Joining Downtown Topeka Inc.

Together We Make It Happen

DTI's members are considered its most valuable asset. Dues paid by DTI members ensure the continuation of programs and services critical to the revitalization of downtown Topeka. These programs are in operation because of the ongoing efforts of DTI members to bring together business and city leaders to collaboratively resolve downtown issues. Without the support of our member's time, energy, and financial commitments, DTI would not exist to serve as the unified voice of downtown. To ensure downtown's continued prosperity and orderly development, we invite you to join DTI today.

At Downtown Topeka Inc.... there is a place for you!

Reasons to Join DTI

DTI Makes Sense

A thriving downtown is key to attracting new corporations and residents to locate within any community. Directly, or indirectly, we all benefit from a healthy and vibrant downtown rewarding us with a strong local labor force, expanding clientèle base, increased job opportunities and an enriched quality of life. Business leaders, like you, support DTI with their membership dues.

DTI Gets the Job Done

Since 2001, there has been impressive growth in downtown Topeka. Through its management of incentive funds provided by the City of Topeka, DTI has been instrumental in creating this activity. DTI is a nonprofit organization with a volunteer member-board of directors that is continually working to foster growth in the City's core. We do this by representing stakeholder's views as we promote downtown economic development, retail business, urban design and planning, all the while providing downtown management.

DTI Membership Rewards

DTI is an exceptional organization because it has extraordinary members. DTI sponsors events each year that bring its members together to discuss downtown concerns, network with each other, showcase business advances and have a good time with others dedicated to the revitalization and continued health of downtown. Members receive quarterly newsletters and biweekly updates via e-mail that keep them up-to-date regarding the most current concerns. Members also receive a directory of all DTI members, which is updated quarterly. New businesses opening in downtown may also take advantage of DTI's news release and ribbon cutting ceremony services to help announce their arrival to the community. The most important benefit of all is being part of a larger voice for downtown, because only together can we make it happen!
